Great gym with a clean and well-maintained environment. The changing rooms and showers are always nice and tidy, and the gym itself has a great atmosphere with good facilities. Happy to train here!

My experience with this gym has been one of the worst I’ve had in Switzerland, both in terms of professionalism, transparency, and customer treatment. When I signed the contract, the cancellation conditions were never clearly explained to me. At no point was I informed that cancelling the membership would require paying for an additional three months. I only discovered this later when I requested to cancel, which I consider highly unprofessional and misleading toward customers. The quality of the gym itself does not justify the price they charge. There are very few machines, the organization is poor, and the space is constantly occupied by personal trainers who take over the equipment and common areas. At times, the gym feels more like a social café than a professional fitness center. Unfortunately, the management seems far more focused on taking customers’ money than on providing proper service or treating clients fairly. Instead of trying to find a reasonable and respectful solution, their only response was to demand even more money despite the poor service and lack of transparency from the beginning. I strongly advise anyone considering joining this gym to read every detail of the contract carefully and request all conditions in writing, because what is said verbally apparently means very little afterward.

I have been a member of Holmes Place for many years now and I have always loved the classes and instructors. In particular, I completed a personal training journey with Sara Lauria and I am extremely satisfied with the experience. She is incredibly professional and knowledgeable, while also being understanding and fun to work with. She took the time to truly listen to my needs and goals, and shaped the training program accordingly. I genuinely felt supported throughout the entire process.

Holmes Place Zürich Jelmoli, along with the entire Jelmoli building, is currently undergoing a major renovation. In its time, Holmes Place was one of the best fitness clubs in town, though it has since needed a well-deserved refresh which I understand is now work in progress as part of the exciting new “Version 2.0.” We had a great experience there overall, with helpful trainers and excellent facilities at the time. While there were a few misunderstandings with the front desk regarding the contract details, Dina provided outstanding support and resolved everything efficiently. The location is unbeatable, perfect for those who enjoy shopping nearby or stopping in after a busy day at work. Membership also offers access to other Holmes Place clubs around Lake Zurich, which is a great perk, especially for weekends in the summer. We look forward to seeing the upgraded club and may potentially consider rejoining once the central gym re-aligns with the renewed standards and pricing.
