Fitnesspark Zürich Stadelhofen
Our Take
Design-forward premium club at Stadelhofen station — the largest eGym circuit in Zürich and reformer pilates, in a compact footprint that rewards off-peak members.
Pick this if reformer pilates and a Stadelhofen commute are your priorities — but verify the floor plan on a visit before signing, because the footprint is the defining constraint.
Members Say
112 reviews · 3.72 ★Reviewers are split between those who love the design-forward interior and those who find it prioritises aesthetics over function. The compact footprint is the single most repeated structural complaint — members who train off-peak rate it highly, while peak-hour users report a cramped and frustrating experience.
- Distinctive modern design praised across all review periods
- eGym circuit offering among the largest in Zürich
- Prime location directly beside Stadelhofen station
- Ask about locker room size before signing — changing rooms consistently flagged as too small
- Busy at peak hours with limited floor space per member
- Wellness area smaller than other Fitnesspark locations, no pool
Who It's For
A 25–40 year old professional who commutes through Stadelhofen, trains at lunch or before 16:00, and wants access to reformer pilates and a structured eGym circuit at a mid-tier premium price.
- →eGym users and strength trainers
- →reformer pilates seekers at a premium price point
- →members who commute via Stadelhofen and train off-peak
- —budget under CHF 106/month
- —you train after 17:00 — the compact floor becomes genuinely crowded
- —you need a pool or large changing rooms

Unacceptable and humiliating treatment by reception staff On January 3, 2026, I experienced absolutely unfriendly and rude treatment from a female receptionist at Fitnesspark Stadelhofen. This is already my 3rd annual contract with the Migros Fitnesspark, I have been training in gyms all over the world for more than 10 years, but I have never encountered such arrogance and hostility from a staff member before. After this incident, I will never return to this gym. The club closes at 20:00 on Saturdays, and members are officially allowed to exit until 20:04. After my workout, I lost my locker wristband in the restroom, which delayed me. I found it only a few minutes before closing and exited at exactly 20:05. I politely explained the situation to the receptionist, but she replied that she "did not care", insisted that I must pay a CHF 10 fine and told me to "be punctual next time". Her tone was openly hostile and arrogant. I paid the fine without arguing and moved to the exit lounge area to put on my jacket and scarf. It was approximately –5°C outside, and I needed literally one minute to dress. The receptionist followed me out and began yelling at me, ordering me to leave immediately because the club was closed. There was absolutely no reason for this behavior. She could clearly see that I was already leaving, that I had paid the fine, and that I was simply putting on my outerwear before stepping outside into snow and low temperatures. Instead, she followed me out and allowed herself to speak to me in a raised, aggressive voice. This way of treating long-term paying clients is unacceptable. Despite the fact that Fitnesspark Stadelhofen is my "main" gym, where I renewed my annual contract less than a month ago, after this incident I will never return training here and will advise my friends and acquaintances to avoid this place.
I am very happy to be a member of Fitnesspark Stadelhofen. It is an almost perfect gym & spa, which I use on a daily basis. Not only because there is someone I think of more often than I admit, at the moment our paths cross.Friendly and professional staff, both front- and back-of-house, ensure a very good training atmosphere. Cleanliness throughout the entire day is consistently maintained, which is not a given and clearly deserves special appreciation. With eGym and related equipment, the club offers a modern and high-quality training setup that allows for a wide variety of training options. As with any gym, peak times do exist, but it is always possible to complete a proper workout. And in good UK tradition – queueing is something we are taught from an early age – I have never actually had to wait in a problematic way. Among all Fitnessparks in Zurich, Stadelhofen is by far the most modern and overall best location for efficient daily strength and cardio training in the range of one to three hours. The only real drawback is the lack of a pool. However, this is manageable by either walking ten minutes to Stockerhof or visiting a public swimming facility. Group fitness is also said to be very good, although I do not use it despite having access, as I prefer to train at my own pace and large crowds are not something I enjoy. That said, there are a few areas where I see clear potential to further improve the club: Opening hours: The weekday opening hours from Monday to Friday, 06:00–22:00, are generally fine. However, having trained in 24/7 clubs in the UK, I do occasionally miss that level of flexibility. It would be worth reconsidering why Saturdays and Sundays cannot also operate from 06:00–20:00. Opening only at 09:00 is inconvenient, disrupts training routines and effectively wastes the morning for many people at the weekend. eGym: The mix between the Smart Strength circuit mode and eGym Strength Pro works well. In Pro mode, I would very much welcome the addition of the new Smart Strength Squat and Hip Thrust machines. While these exercises can be performed with alternatives manually in the gym, having them as eGym machines would provide a safer and more user-friendly option for eGym users. Additionally, the current starting point of the circuit near the changing lockers should be reconsidered, as this area regularly becomes congested during peak times. Increasing the circuit changeover time by around five seconds would also make sense. Even for fast users, it can be tight, especially when previous users need slightly longer. In some cases, the Classic eGym training process has already started before one is fully logged in and ready. Cardio bikes: There is no shortage of bikes. However, one option is missing that would likely be well received at Stadelhofen: one or two recumbent bikes, as available at Stockerhof. They are particularly useful for people with thigh or lower-body issues and provide a valuable alternative. Fitnessparks Zurich – cross-location consistency: Given how popular eGym equipment is across all age groups, and the fact that it is a key reason for my own choice of Fitnessparks, this topic should be addressed at a broader management level. Stadelhofen should be the benchmark. Currently, Stockerhof and Puls 5 do not offer the same automation and digital integration scope or structure in their circuit and Pro areas. Aligning these locations would ensure that the same training can be carried out during revision periods or when switching clubs, without compromises. In closing, I would like to thank all staff at Fitnesspark Stadelhofen and all the other Fitnessparks for the excellent gym and spa services. Please keep up the good work – but do not stand still. Continuous development is essential to ensure that customers remain customers in the long term.
I will not come back to this gym anymore. Despite the fact that all the young reception staff and some of the trainers are very pleasant, one female receptionist is extremely unfriendly, arrogant and horrible to interact with
I am very disappointed with this gym. The first time I came, I paid ~ 50 CHF for a day pass and was allowed to use the space to practice dancing during free hours ( i just did and need one hour) . I brought my own dance shoes with proper protection, so the floor was not damaged, and I did not disturb anyone. The second time I came, I was refused entry to dance, even though the hall was completely empty. I only wanted to use the space for myself for about an hour, without bothering anyone. Why was it permitted once and denied the next time? For a gym of this level, I expected consistency and fairness. If one person quietly practicing alone can cause such a problem, then I cannot recommend this place. One star.
The gym and facilities are modern and of good quality. The issue is that FitnessPark sells too many memberships so it's extremely crowded during certain hours of the day. I understand they advise not to go in peak times, but this is supposed to be a slightly more premium gym and therefore they should not make it so crowded. It's frustrating having to queue for machines. Additionally, the free weights section is very small in comparison to e-machines (only three racks for example).

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The advice is good. The equipment is of high quality, and the modern facility is very clean and well-maintained. I really enjoy the wellness area with its sauna infusions (check the schedule at the entrance). My only complaint is that the showers sometimes have significant temperature fluctuations.
