Our Take
Lausanne's most facility-complete premium club in Ouchy, offering pool, sauna, hammam, steam room, cycling, and one of the widest group class schedules in the city.
Choose Wellness & Sport Club if you want the most complete premium facility in Lausanne — pool, hammam, and a deep class schedule in one membership — and can tolerate an administrative culture that makes cancellation harder than it should be.

Facilities are top-notch, including pool, sauna, and hamam, and the group training programs they offer are pretty varied and frequent. It's really a premium fitness club of the likes of Migros Malley. The only half-missing thing is a salle de répos and cold-water wells, both of which are top-notch at Malley. However, there is some limited space to relax after a cold shower. :) I'd still give it five stars. Cleanliness is managed by a team of unintrusive - very important - and highly-professional staff. Oh, and the whole personnel is really kind and amicable. Opening times are convenient for the late-evening afterwork.
If you cancel at the beginning of the month they will still charge you for that month. It has to be the 30th of the previous month. The facility is too hot. The women's locker room is smaller and more cramped than the men's. I know this because they switched us for a while. I find this a bit sexist. I don't understand why it's not the same.
The gym as a facility is great, but I cannot give a better review than 1 star, due to their HORRIBLE cancellation policy. I had contacted the gym in-person and via phone to cancel my subscription back in 2020, as I was moving away. At the time, the front desk operator told me it would be canceled. I found out (after two years) that they had continued to charge my bank account their monthly subscription rate, without telling me, and when I inquired, they said I need to WRITE A MAIL-IN LETTER WITH MAIL TRACKING (in the 21st century!) to cancel my subscription. This is completely ridiculous, and is clearly designed just to make unsubscribing harder. Of course, they did not offer to refund me the thousands of dollars that the stole from me this way (in spite of me asking, and records showing I had not used the gym in years). On the plus side: if you do actually want to use the gym, the facility is good and the staff is friendly. Too bad their HQ will try to screw you as soon as you try to cancel your subscription. Without clear instruction how to cancel the subscription, and just saying "it will be done", I wonder how many other clients were robbed of thousands of dollars in this way. Simply dishonest behavior.
Pro (+): Modern equipments, gym, cardio and wellness section with various organized classes. Contra (-): High registration and monthly fees. On certain days the club just stays closed. Even though I followed their social media page, we were not notified about the days. One day the equipments were reorganized, but I had to turn back at the entrance more than once. FYI: every Sunday is off in August for vacation. Long stop periods for maintenance (!): once the sauna was not working for 1 month, then the pool and jacuzzi area was totally closed for 2 months while the jacuzzi was removed... So there is no jacuzzi now. The above mentioned closed and non-service days will leave you without any compensation.
This gym it's just amazing! I felt a nice energy for my training! The girls at the reception are very nice and friendly.
