Holmes Place Lausanne offers a truly premium environment. The facilities are consistently well maintained, with a high level of cleanliness across all areas — from the locker rooms to the spa and relaxation spaces. This level of attention is noticeable and makes a real difference in the overall experience. The coaches and staff are generally professional, friendly, and committed, which places this club above many others I’ve experienced. Like any organization, there are still areas for improvement — particularly in certain aspects of the customer experience, where more consistency and fluidity would further strengthen the overall positioning. That said, the global experience remains very positive and aligned with what you would expect from a premium club.

Premium Fitness and Wellness Center with high quality machines and equipment, and a nice spa area with a sauna, hamam, and hot tub. The staff are lovely and professional and the receptionist is always very warm and welcoming. Overall very happy with my membership that I’ve had for the past couple of years.

Having been a member of this club for over 10 years, I am genuinely disappointed by how much the overall experience has declined. Over the past year in particular, the quality of the group classes, which was my main reason for joining, has significantly deteriorated. The variety is limited, the standards have dropped, and there is little that feels engaging or worth the steadily increasing membership fees. Despite annual price increases over the last three years, there has been no noticeable improvement in what they offer to justify them. What is equally disappointing is how these price increases are communicated. Rather than addressing members directly and transparently, they are announced through generic newsletter emails, with little effort to explain or justify the changes. For a club that relies on long term members, this lack of consideration and personal communication signals a clear disregard for customer loyalty. More broadly, the club seems to have lost sight of what keeps long term members: consistency, quality, and a sense that loyalty is valued. Instead, the approach feels increasingly transactional and short sighted. This was ultimately reinforced by the way my membership cancellation was handled, with a rigid three month notice period imposed despite ongoing unilateral changes to pricing each year. For these reasons, I can no longer recommend this club.

Best fitness in Lausanne, great classes and amazing atmosphere. If cleanness and quality matter to you, HolmesPlace is the place for you. The extended opening hours allow you fit perfectly for busy professionals with crazy schedules. Beyond the amenities and extensive equipments available, this gym has a great crowd - super friendly and respectful members. I met my husband and best friends in HolmesPlace, so I can only highly recommend.
