My partner and I have only been members of Holmes Place in Oberrieden since May. The staff at reception, the office staff, and the trainers are all friendly. You can see that the gym is well organized with its member services and personal trainers. You are greeted and bid farewell in a friendly manner at reception. The gym is large and well equipped. I have no complaints about cleanliness either. I find the changing room area a bit cramped and most of the lockers are occupied, even though there aren't that many people in the gym. The spa area isn't particularly luxurious. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of cleanliness in the toilets. What I found disappointing was the renovation of the showers. I would have expected a little more. But basically, we were shown everything and we were happy with it. It is, it must be said, a pleasant gym and we enjoy going there to train.

The whole club and especially the spa area is beautiful, with breathtaking views on the lake of Zurich. Also, the shower are so much better than in the other two locations, at Jelmoli and th Crown Plaza Hotel. The club manager Mai as always been helpful in any questions I had. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place, the most modern fitness equipment, friendly atmosphere, qualified staff always ready to help. Facility includes also Pilates Reformer Studio, massage, personal training, restaurant with lake view, spa, group fitness classes, genial location right at the lake of Zurich with direct access to the lake. You cannot ask for more. The best club in the area. If you just moved to Switzerland, this is the place to go, you meet people from all around the world, very international atmosphere. It’s not just a fitness club, it’s a community and lifestyle.

After 15 years as a loyal member and countless 50-PT packages, I was charged in full for a session I had to cancel the same day because I woke up sick. The 24-hour rule may be legally valid, but there was no flexibility, no goodwill, and no recognition of long-term loyalty — even after discussing it with the local manager. By insisting on this one fee, they’ve now lost a client who was ready to renew her soon-to-expire 50-PT packages. Legally right, financially short-sighted, and definitely not customer-friendly. If I were a new client, I’d think twice before booking PT there (especially the packages) - and make sure you never get sick on the day you train 🤷‍♀️!

Premium Prices for below basic Service. Half the time something is getting "repaired" and not available. currently the showers for 3 weeks - in a Gym... They dont clean often or well.
