I'm truly happy I chose Holmes Place Geneva! I've been going for a month now, and having been a member of various fitness clubs in my home country for about 10 years, I can say I have a good basis for comparison. Holmes Place has impressed me on every level. The reception staff are always friendly and professional, dressed in elegant uniforms. The changing rooms, jacuzzi, and sauna are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. A big plus for parents: there's a nanny available three times a week – I’ve already made use of this and truly appreciate it. Sharafa was my advisor during my first visit – she gave me a great introduction to the club. I walked in straight from the street with a stroller, was warmly welcomed, and immediately knew I’d be signing the contract. The fitness areas are fantastic, the trainers are highly professional, and group classes take place almost every hour – there’s something for everyone. Highly recommended!

I visited Holmes Place Geneva this morning around 7:40 as a walk-in to check out the facilities before deciding whether to join. Unfortunately, I was told that viewings are not allowed without an appointment because no staff were available. That’s exactly why I came early—to get a feel for the overall experience, including the equipment such as the exercise bikes and treadmills. Not being able to see the gym at all, combined with the lack of staff available to assist walk-ins, left a poor first impression. For a gym at this price point, I expected better service and more flexibility.

Great sports club with plenty of group classes and very friendly staff. The facility could use a bit of renovation, but I hear they’re planning to start soon. My only negative experience was having my sneakers stolen after I left them under a bench in the women’s locker room. When I reported it to management and the security team, they were very helpful, but unfortunately, the person responsible was never found. Overall, I recommend this place as a great choice, but just be mindful of your belongings.

Difficult cancellation process and overcrowded gym I joined Holmes Place Geneva expecting a premium experience, but unfortunately my time here has been disappointing. The gym is often overcrowded, especially during peak hours, which makes it hard to enjoy a proper workout despite the high membership fees. I recently moved to the countryside and tried to cancel my contract, but the process has been extremely difficult and frustrating. Even after explaining my situation and following all the required steps, communication has been slow and unhelpful. It feels like they intentionally make it hard to end the membership. For a gym that presents itself as high-end, I expected much better service and flexibility. I would advise anyone thinking of joining to read the contract carefully and be aware that cancellation can be far from simple.

Echoing several of the reviews here. The gym is overcrowded and overpriced. They routinely undertake promotions, which means there is a weekly boatload of new joiners. If you are looking for a gym that is only bearable between the hours of 13:00-15:00, then this is the place for you. However, if you are looking for anything that is even remotely compatible with a professional schedule, beware of Holmes Place and look elsewhere.
