Edam was very nice and patience to explain all.. I'm a tourist expending some time in Basel and Clara Huus location is great.. The people is amazing

There's two add- abductor machines, one has been broken for half a year, the other one has an old Chinese man sleeping on it the whole time. Don't forget your lock or anything valuable in the locker rooms as the staff will keep it and pretend they never found it. Other than that it's all good. EDIT: The locks issue changed now which only proves that the team is listening to honest feedback, always striving to improve. Other than that I have to say that the place is always very clean and the machines well maintained.

So glad to find this gym so close to Claraplatz. Clean, first-rate facility with excellent weight equipment, free weights, and cardio. Very nice staff and diverse clientele with no attitude. Will be back!

Good gym. But beware if you park your bike outside the area. 2 of our scooter have been stolen despite having a lock. But the gym is superb especially for its price and the amount of equipment they have

I am working out in pure gym from last 1 year and it was fantastic year except of I had lost my bike from outside of gym parking. I also had recent experience when someone has stolen my headphone case from treadmill in gap of just 5 min. I and on duty trainer (Mr Adam) tried hard to find it out but could not. I got to know that there is not a single camera available in gym which can captured the working out station and I have seen first gym without camera available. It's my humble request to management of pure gym, kindly install cameras atleast on workout floor and stations because you never know what kinda of people are working out. Note : with tremendous efforts made by on duty trainer (Mr Adam) I finally got my case back and he really made a lot of effrots to track them and insure to get me back. Thank you Adam. Much appreciated for all efforts you made.
